Weaks all gone from our area I imagine. Water is in the 50's now.

Shad rig umbrellas god to pull. Some smaller stretch 25's in deeper water would be good and some ava, crippled herring and storm shads to jig when you see working birds or read the fish.

I would work the channel edges looking for readings, and the other typical spots. Def head out into SH channel and south as well.

Hey Salty, It's about time you got your priorities straight.  Get out and fish!   TT^

I had a decent day the other day with shad umbrellas.  All the blue fish you would want and two stripers.  Hopefully the ratio of blues and stripers will turn around and we will get more stripers than blues.

Good luck and let's all hope the weather doesn't get as nasty as they say it will.

I am shooting for a Sunday trip.

Salty

If you are fishing up near Sandy Hook, either drifting with clams or setting up on the clam beds and running a slick, drifting eels in Sandy Hok/Ambrose or the Rips, Pulling wire with Umbellas/w-Shads or Herring spoons.

Working readings or wrking birds with AVA jigs, Crippled Herrings or Krocodile spoons grtn
