A reality television star has been arrested in Morehead City where the show is currently shooting.
David Marciano, who appears on the National Geographic Channel series 'Wicked Tuna', was charged with assault on a female by Morehead City police.
Interim Chief Bernette Morris says Marciano is accused of pulling the ponytail of the front desk clerk at the hotel where he is staying. Morris says it happened around 1:10 a.m. Monday and that Marciano appeared to be intoxicated.
The man was taken before a magistrate Tuesday afternoon and released on a written promise to appear.
The show has been shooting off the North Carolina coast for about the past week. It resumes airing in mid-February, according to National Geographic.
