Okay I know I have not put in a report in a long time but this is too good to not let you guys know. The big blues and bass are making their way out of the Toms River into the bay and heading for the inlet. Blues at over 15lbs are not unusual and I saw a 37 inch bass caught foo the bulkhead in Island Heights.
The choice of lures were poppers and deadly dicks. Now that the bulk of the fish are in the bay you might want to try throwing bunker on small hooks as well. All the tackle shops are open as though it was summer the bite has been so good.
Happy angling guys, Heck I might even have to get out there myself. If you see me come on over and rag chew a while.
Again the Toms River is still producing some great fish, while the blues are all over from the Mathis bridge to the inlet especially Seaside Park and the back of IBSP.
Happy Catching
Paul
