Had good conditions to start the day only it was a little too fast to drift. Anchored up and started to pick at the Blues. Wasn't really good enough so we went into search mode looking for a better bite with some bass.
Ran way to the West where we had good fishing over the weekend....No bites, No readings a desert to say the least. Took another ride and set up once again on an excellent reading to only catch squat once again.....
Ran back to the East and finally tried a drift...Bob Walsh, Staten Island landed the first Bass at 15 pounds for the pool. Had another short then lost the next 5 bigger fish that we had on. Never caught another one after that.
At 2:30, I decided to give it one last shot and took another ride to a whole new area. Glad we did as the bite turned on as soon as we stopped. Non-stop action for the extra hour. Caught the Biggest kind of blues on Bait and jigs.
Heard of a few fish starting to show in the Ocean today so hopefully, we have a couple new area's to check out.
Back at it tomorrow.
