LS5 first report

Heading to Manasquan inlet and turned south.. trolled on and off to the Barnegate Light inlet with 0 to show for it.  Went through the inlet and made it to the set of markers heading back in the bay and bluefish were hitting.

We managed to land 2 and lost a few more.  Nice size as well.  The ones landed where about 8-10 lbs and uncle luna lost a larger one at the boat.

 Nice run. I've made that loop a few times.

 Got me beat on catching, I'm still sitting on the rack with power trim issues.

I got delayed this year as well.  3 weeks for electronics and 3 more for powerheads rebuild.

Thanks for the report Nick. We are trying to decide N or S tomorrow out of SRI. May need to make the run up north to find some action...... 5hrug

Belmar party boats were just shy of the Sandy Hook entrance yesterday, I'd say it was the clam beds as Nick pointed out. Way north of the rocks.
