New Member here
« on: November 10, 2007, 12:34:39 PM »

 Hello Guys/Gals,

I am a new member to the site but am already thrilled to be a part of the community.  I am friends with Irish Ayes and HotRod (please dont hold that against me).
I have done an awful lot of freshwater fishing in my life but am basically a novice when it comes to saltwater, but I am anxious to learn as much as I can.
I have had the pleasure to have gone fishing with Irish Ayes many times during the past few months and we have had many successful trips.  Capt.Joe is quite the professional and always seems to know where the fish are holding.
I was out fishing with Capt. Mike the other day out of Tuckerton, along with Irish Ayes, HotRod, and several others. We had a blast catching bluefish and I was fortunate to have caught a decent size striper. But it was truly a blast fishing with the guys, alot of laughs throughout the trip.  Thats what makes the trip fun, being with the right guys.  Thanks for the great day, Capt. Mike.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting new faces here and gaining alot of information along the way.  Thanks,

                   Bob

Rod didn't get the nick-name 'sawzall' while on the job because of the tools he uses...It was the noises that would come out of him.   rofla

Hi Bob,

Welcome aboard!
It was my pleasure to have you aboard and to fish with as well. Great job with that bass! Very nice! You are always welcome, glad that you had a great time, even though we did not stick to our original plan. This is the best forum out there, because it is made up of the best group of guys and gals you could ever wish for. A lot of different knowledge behind that monitor into this forum, and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand. This is a great place. Looking forward to your post, good luck.

Capt. Mike

Funny..  I said to him as we were heading out.
"I  still need a large striper" He was like. "really"?  I said "YEA".  So we get to the birds and I was first in and bam!!  I got a blue... I could tell.  Bob pops up right next to me and throws out an ava green and Bam right near the top. I bring my blue in , and Mikes just about to send the gaff thru/ his. And I was like  "WTF" that's a striper and Mike ran for the net.

I was like. You caught a striper!. He said. Ah  Yea.. ;D :P  bngh  thud
