Picked up a real nice big bass today on the Fisher Price. As usual Derek put us on fish. He had to work hard but overall he gave us a fair amount of opportunities on a challenging day, with a few opportunities squandered in my opinion. I went 1 for 1 with the most aggressive bass
I have ever fought (most bass I just reel in, this one was a battle) and considered it a great day especially with the wind against tide and the lack of an aggressive bite. We had one fish that was likely in the 45" range (long but lean). More than anything I continue to learn more and more about fishing so that when I go on my own boat my odds are greatly improved. Its worth every penny to mix in some fishing on the 6-packs or the party boats. They all offer something to improve your overall game. Thanks to all the Captains and mates that put up with me!
