Last night me and my dad went out around 8:45. We had some trouble with our bunker staying on so about an hour to two in, we switched to clam (which my dad said he would never use as bait again from it falling off) and about ten minutes later, we had a hit. Sadly, we caught a dogfish and a skate. In my about 13 tries to surf fish, I have never caught anything besides a skate or dogfish. The surf was very rough though making my ugly stick almost bend all the way over without a hit (I have circle hooks so nothing was on there.)
