Got a call from Captain Hoe yesterday afternoon asking how quickly I could get to the boat. Turns out I was actually heading on up to Belmar for work. But Joe had to get out of his slip while he had enough water and thought I would get there too late.
Well, I did get there late (Joe was already outside the inlet by the time I got there), but when I texted him, he turned around and came back for me.
Once aboard, we headed out the inlet with Tom and Kevin aboard. It didn't take too long before we found them. Kevin hooked up first (and had the hot hand all afternoon). But, everyone caught and we kept our under limit with fish up to about 42".
I have not been fishing since June and I have to say it felt fantastic to finally get out!
