4/18 Raritan Bay

Fished out of Keyport from 6:30 to 11:30 .No love .Trolled black back shad umbrella's and an assortment of plugs .Nada .Snagged bunker and set up in a couple of different spots ,same results .Just couldn't find any body chew'n .OH-well . 5hrug

was out there too..... but i endured a few more hours pain, stayed till about 3......still had great marks from keyport to staten island....did venture out to Romers just to see if any life....caught one of my 3 shorts along the staten island side on way back in from Romers...trolled all the way back towards Keyport where again great marks but no takers....seems live bait was the ticket for those who caught and even then it was pretty slow....think most action was early along S.I side. didn't see much bait chrz.....water was very dirty and had to pick up lines every 10 minutes or so ..most times with something(straw or plastic bags) on gear.
