Saturday Fishing Sharkbite
« on: May 14, 2016, 03:49:12 PM »
Tried our best today but only a bunker and a bluefish for the efforts on jigs early on.. Took a couple nice hits on the new Sharkbite "taffy" jig that tore up the shad. Another hit on a spoon. Trolled near the fleet and away but no blitzes. Marked a lot of bait and fish on the screen today.

It was a great morning on the water. Started south towards MI and zig zaged north, then south then north. Most bait pods sitting in at 30-40 feet of water. Not much spotted 50 feet and out

season is still early. Better days are coming.

Thanks for the report Mike. Always nice to spend a day on the water, mine was spent on land.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><
