Due to very little water at my dock at low tide I had to be back before 1 pm. Therefore, I didn't take the ride to the snake.
Hit the Klondike with Kevin D, Tom, Uncle Bud, Larry and his wife Barb. Started off slow with no wind and very little drift. As the morning wore on the fishing got better (but still no wind or drift). Found several sweet spots where we had double and triple fish on.
Put ten keepers up to 23" (not my fish so I couldn't count it for the July tourney) on ice. Also kept two ling and a sea bass.
Had a couple of brown shark circle the boat and a cobia made a quick appearance. Tried to entice them with some baited hooks. Had one of the brown's follow the bait and turn off just before he got to the offering.
Back at it again tomorrow.
