started at axel early with 2 buds who are sharp/calm seas water 75 deg/slow drift/2 hrs in we had 2 shorts and a sea robin and skate/went north with drops at asbury/red church and rattlesnake/total of one short and 10 sea robins with several large skates/moved to sandy hook reef for 4 shorts/wind started blowing hard from south/many small seabass around/felt better when we saw party boats anchored off long branch catching short seabass(obviously desperate)headed home early for beer and xina
