Hallie's Loren11-5-16 Striper And Bahhhh

  Pulled out 7am with seasoned fisherman, Kenny. Phil, Rick, Jake and Scott also lady Ba Ba. Jake quickly landed a 31" Striper and things looked good.  Marked fish and bait everywhere and covered over 60 miles circling the bay and only landed a giant Bluefish later in the day. Back at Marina around 3pm.   Lots of laughs with great friends.. That's fishing.  


Good Recipe::

Striper cakes2 lbs fish cut into 1/2 " square pieces.
2 heaping tbs mayo
2 tbs dijon mustard
1tsp old bay seasoning
2 eggs
1 cup coarse chopped onions
1 cup coarse chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
2tbs hot red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)... I use less


Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. form into patties about an inch thick. Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat and cook 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Enjoy hot or cold. Makes around 10 cakes.

that recipe looks very familiar  t^

Only problem with it is it is very hard to not to eat them before your done cooking them    clp

The fish may have been scarce but the jokes and laughing was epic !!
Felt great to get out with my buds after a long fishing drout for me all summer !!

Trolled and threw shads under the birds and only managed one 31" fish on a mojo.  We packed it in about noon.
