Left Irwin's Marina in Red Bank at 8am with my friend, Eldon and his son-in-law and the son-in-laws father who is 90. My friend caught a 19 1/2 fluke west of the Oceanic Bridge by 8:45 on a teaser. He was using a bucktail with a squid combo. The 90 yr old caught his first keeper in 3 yrs using a bucktail with squid combo. Boy was he happy. We also caught some shorts in Sandy Hook Bay and got a nice 18 1/2 inch fluke at the tip of the hook. The weather was cool and it was a nice day to be on the water.
