Excellent Striped Bass Fishing Today, Sunday the 24th
Excellent striped bass fishing today. Everyone on board caught their limit on fish over 28". There were a number of bonus fish taken too. Biggest fish was close to 40". Nothing under 25" today. Croc spoons worked best. Shads, crippled herring and AVAs worked too. Great day --one of the best this fall. Just 15 fishermen with us.
We still have bonus tags aboard that can be used for the rest of this month.
We will be tied up tomorrow but back to schedule on Tuesday. It's going to get colder so dress accordingly.
The Gambler will be offshore for sea bass fishing on Friday, Dec 29th.
