ALTERNATIVES TO OFFSHORE
Florida offshore fishing can be absolutely fantastic. The Florida Fisherman II catch from last Friday hit the dock Sunday morning with a mountain of fish:

Prefer fishing closer to shore? This is our Florida; fish can be caught from hundreds of miles offshore, inshore, and all points in between. I know; I am a Florida native who has been fishing the Sunshine State for over 70 years. Sheepshead fishing around Davis Causeway Bride was a lot a fun and very productive. We used hand lines. At night the Snook took over:

Davis Causeway opened January 28, 1934 with a 25 cent toll pr car. In 1948 Davis Causeway was renamed Courtney Campbell Causeway. Today inshore/nearshore remains very good. Think fishing is just for men? Think again! The very young and our ladies are also deeply involved.

Estelle is involved as anyone. She constantly fishes close to shore:

As well as on the 39 hour overnight trips. Estelle is so involved that she has formed a Fishing Club known as, 'Ladies Anglers of Hubbard's Marina.'
