Used a lot in Florida and mentioned at the saltwater Fishing Seminar.  anyone ever done it or plan on giving it a try?

True...  I think at the seminar they were referring to shark.  Though they elected not to go into detail..

I think it would be great for livelining a bluefish for sharking. Capt. Johnny B, wants to fool with it on my boat this season.

When the bite is slow we can always fly the bluefish... LOL  >:D

Shark would be good as maybe grey light live bait for tuna.

i saw it on a fishing show few years back,,it works but now for what we fish for around here....

Ive seen the technique used with much success on TV shows. On low wind days they fasten a small helium filled balloon to the top of the kite for more lift. Also whats nice about this is, if you have hooked a fish on a non-kite line,{outrigger line} to prevent tangles you can pull the kite baits out of the water just by reeling in a small amount of line. The baits and line dangle in the air below the kites.

I did it in Florida. Pretty cool watching the surface blow ups. Surprisingly, it is not a labor intensive technique.

Always thought about trying it for bass/blues-especialy in the shallower waters of Raritan Bay where even if the fish are deep the vibrations emitted form a struggling bunker would surely draw a fish's attention.

Waaaaay to complicated for me...I'd probably wind up getting myself tangled up in it and have myself dangling over the water instead of the bait!

I def do not see a use for it for bluefish or bass. Shark I could see if you want to mix it up, but that is pretty much it for what we do up here.
