A Good Day to stay in the barn!!!
« on: February 13, 2008, 06:49:36 PM »
I went out today to do some scouting and this is what I found at the Manasquan Inlet.  The waves were over 10' at least at the mouth of the inlet.

Happy Catching

Good pics, Paul.  Nice day to be watching the water from land.   TT^

The inlet looked like it was pretty calm with some rolling swells till you look at the mouth of it.  Man I can't imaging anyone trying to make their way out thru that.  Coming in it would be like surfing and threading the needle at the same time.

I give the coasties a lot of respect because they would be the only ones that would have to go out through that stuff.  By riding around it looked like the whole fleet was in. There were Commercial boats everywhere.  A lot more than normal.
