whats up guys ,how have you all been ,I been away for a while but I think I am back now ,I have been doing alright but fishing has been slow ,I have been doing a little fishing in the salt and some in the streams but have not landed anything good over the winter.I will fill you guys in on my past couple months ,fluke fishing was great last year and we had many trips w/ over 20 keepers on the boat but I destroyed my sea boss boat and had to get rid of it due to poor quality ,so I missed the fall run of bass and only fished a few times,we had a absolutely great run of weakies in oct. and I had days w/over 60 fish by myself .I just upgraded to a 22' sea hunt which will be delivered w/ in the next couple weeks and I am looking forward to getting out on the water and seeing what it is made of.hope all is well w/ you guys.

Weird, my Sea Boss (2003) is holding up pretty well despite several beatings I have given her. Only issue has been rub rail popping out in some places after taking a pounding, otherwise, not too bad for a cheap boat. Guess quality went down hill on them with newer ones.

sea boss just went under ,there no longer making boats ,I went through 2 of the last year no offense to you ,I just run hard and they couldnt make a boat to handle the ocean

Funny, I spoke to them earlier in the week, so not sure how they went under (They are owned by Brunswick and are a division Sea Pro).

Sorry you didn't like yours ( I thought you said you were selling it because you wanted a bigger boat, that a 21' was too small-that's what you told me when you posted it for sale here).

Mine has been in the Ocean many times and I have had no trouble.
I know quite a few people that have them and none of them sunk.

Bobber told me he used to go on Hammer4reel's all the time and he said they beat it up pretty good and never had a major problem.

AS a matter of fact, you are the only person who I have ever heard that really had any type of major problem them.
They are no Grady white, but they certainly did not go under and you seem to be the only one with a major problem.

I was talking to a dealer at the AC boat show and he told me that SeaBoss was going under. He also said that the dealer couldn't return any of his SeaBoss inventory either.
He is now a Sea Hunt dealer.

I am only going by what brunswick told me ,I was on the phone w/ a high up guy and they said they are closing it down .I then spoke to a dealer that said he is stuck w/ there boats and they wont take them back .If your boat is holding up best of luck to ya ,I had 2 lemons and so did many others ,that is great for you

If they are closing the line, then I stand corrected.

I am not sure I would consider it going under tho as they are owned by the biggest marine manufacturer in the business.
My guess is that since the boating market is in the shitter nest to the Housing market, the big players will consolidate and the little guys will fold.

Regardless, my boat is a 2003, so it has seen plenty of use/abuse and it is holding up fine.

Mike, Brunswick Sports did not pick up the Sea Boss until the end of 2004.  Your boat was made when they were with Sea Pro, thus, you didn't get the Brunswich Sports boat. 

I have heard Brunswick Sports buys good companies and gets what they can out of them then drives the company into the ground.  I believe they bought out Mako.  Makos are not what they used to be.

AH, i see now. Got it.
Wasn't sure when Brunswick acquired Sea Pro. I know Sea Boss is the old Sea Pro molds with the factory just down the street.

I guess mine is pre-Brunswick :)

I THINK Mako is owned by Tracker which is why you can buy them At bass Pro shops now.

They don't make ANYTHING like they used to :)
