Not too far off of last year's regs.  Size went up, everything else pretty much the same.  Strips is an excellent addition.   t^

Fish your hearts out this season.  If Pallone's bill doesn't get passed in time, we might not have a season in '09.  Of the options proposed, I think this is the best one, FWIW.

OK - I'll be the killjoy  >:D

We surrendered 1/2" and 1 week to the govt' and it sucks.  Thats a 1/2" and 1 week we will never get back.

Min sizes never go down, seasons do not get longer, when it comes to good old political BS.

I think we all agree with you Duff.  But until we can get the Magnuson-Stevens Act changed, we have to put up with the best crap they give us.  bngh bngh

I relate these changes in the fishing regulations, as being the same as a toll/gas hike, etc.

We are at a certain level, and then we are threatened with an extreme change (for the worse).....everybody gets, mad/scared/pissed and (hopefully) fights like H*ll.....then we are offered a change less retrictive than the original proposal (but still worse than we had)......

We all then clap and are happy, we yell we won......well we didn't.......WE STILL GOT SCR*WED.......instead of doing it all at once they are doing it in little bits.............

OUR RECREATIONAL FISHERY IS GOING TO DIE FROM A THOUSAND LITTLE CUTS,  INSTEAD OF ONE BIG ONE................My 2 Cents
