Dipping Sinkers For Winter Flounder

5 one ounce sinkers
15 two once sinkers
15 three ounce sinkers
15 four ounce sinkers

cleaned / dipped / dried / marked

ready for flooooounndddaaaasssss

You got to explain this to me.  What are you dipping them in and why? It looks to me like you are applying a camouflage.

It is like a rubberized grip coating (holds up better than paint).......done as an attractent for Flounder......works great....

I did 2,3, and 4s.  Gotta get my 1s from the garage at the trailer.  I did the plasti-grip and powder coat.  I'll see what one holds up better.   t^

I dipped (6) of each, #2, #3 & #4 yesterday.

I use a vinyl paint with a coat of clear seems to hold up well.. Im gonna have to try that dip stuff... t^

I think it would be too thick and you loose the detail on the jig head (if there is any).  I bought powder coat paint and use that on jig heads.  Harbor Freight has powder coat paint in white, yellow, red and black.  $5.50 for a 16 oz jar.  Get their $10 heat gun and it works like a charm on jigs.   t^

Vito,
 Yellow sinkers are to moch corn. With most of the sinker bouncing in the mud and out of sight, a part of the sinker will be above the mud and insight.

 The plastic dip is going to be way to thick for jigs with details. It will cover it right up.

I am going to hit up a couple more 1's today aswell as my fillet knives, plyers, and other things...

Spray painting the sinkers is ehhh.. Not good enough for my boat.. I went as far as putting 2 dips on each sinker..

Yeah, that stuff works well.  Spray paint is ok, but it wears off very quickly.

Any updates on the flounder charters?  Has my spot been filled?  Still not sure if I can go that day, but I'm hoping! ;D
