Is this line that thin? I was looking on Cabalas and they compare its diameter to other lines. 20 lb power pro same diameter as 8lb something or other.Doesnt say what type line they are comparing it to. Its like you would need twice as much of power pro to spool a reel. Am I reading this wrong??

Am I reading this wrong??No, the line diameter of PP is much smaller than mono of similar strength.Spool your reels part of the way up with some old mono as backing. If you try and FILL your reels with just the PP you'll go broke.
So if I take 100 yards of mono off I should be able to get about 200 yards of PP on? Does that sound about right?

Does that sound about right?I reco just covering the spool with mono (until the metal is no longer visible, then filling the rest up with braid.Buy it in bulk, it is cheaper.Braid will last you a LONG Long time.
Don't forget you can reverse the braid just by spooling onto an empty reel till you get to the mono retie and spool back up. Instant new line.
