well today fluke dud ,sam willard and I set out for or first trip of the season and it just down right sucked ,we had good word of the location of the fish and had very high hopes of slamming them today but it just never happened for us ,we did everything possible but the water was to cold ,I had a reading of 39-40 all morning.I had to be home by noon for the family so we couldnt run far.It was the first trip for me on the new boat and she was great ,what a differance between this boat and last years p.o.s..I couldnt be happier w/ this boat it handles very and we had plenty of room for fishing 4 guys ,the total catch for the day was zero for the fisherman and 1 for the chum pot  ;D  .we will be back on them fri,sat,sun next week

No one else around us was really producing either. One boat near us got one.
On the way back, we ran into a guy with a small starcraft that caught only one too.

If we could have stayed out longer, we might have landed a few. But it's Easter and it was good just to get out for a few hours in general.

yup ,we fished the back ,we worked hard ,4 pots going and pounding the mud ,the water was to cold during the incomming tide ,only fish came on the turn but we had to leave
