« on: March 29, 2008, 09:29:56 PM »
Sorry for the delayed reports guys. Have had a few LONG days.. We are haveing some kinks with the camera... Trying to get some pics uploaded.. Might have to buy a new one...

Also Guys.. Thank you soooooo much for all the kind words.. It means alot to hear / read that stuff when you work your butt off for 14 hours a day, day in, day out.. Again, Thanks

Angela Rose Charters hosted Big Dom, Walt, and Mike for a late half day flounder trip. We had a late start and left the dock at 1230 pm. With one location in mind, we shot south, anchored up and threw heavy on the chum. It didn't take long before the Michigan resident, Big Dom, hooked up the first keeper and then his second with in minutes. Mike then followed shortly after and then things slowed for about an hour or so. With an adjustment to the anchor lines, we got the bit going again. By the end of the trip, the guys took home 12 fish and threw a couple back.

Angela Rose Charters hosted Mike, Bob, Gary, and Dan for a shared charter. With Thursday's results, we headed out early and anchored up on the same marks. BAM BAM BAM, and the fish were going. We were clearly on a honey hole as surrounding boat only managed to pick a fish here and there. We had a good steady pick all day. The consistent pounding of the sash and the magic home brewed chum was key in keeping the fish under the boat.
By days end, 33 fish landed in the cooler with Dan chopping in the top 5 for the Angela Rose Monthly Pool with a 1.12 pound flatty.

Angela Rose Charters hosted Team NJH for 1 of 2 flounder trips. With Matt, Tom, Tom D.
Steve, Doug, and Craig onboard, we had a pretty good feeling that today was going to be the break open day. Well, we were wrong. Today was a tough one with winds at a solid 15 knots out of the N/NW. The tide was a bit funny on the change and water temps were lower then yesterday. We picked an early bite and landed 2 fish quick. At that point, I thought it was going to be a good day. Then NOTHING for almost 5 hours. We adjusted the anchors a few times to try to keep the swinging at bay. By 1:30 pm we made a few location changes and we were able to drum up another 2 fish. At 10 minutes to 3, I decided to make one last drop on our way back to the dock and give it a shot. BAM fish on...Bam fish on ... and BAM fish on... 3 fast bites and we all looked at each other thinking...hmmmm.
After a little extra time, we bagged 11 fish on that last drop which saved the day.
All in all, 18 fish were caught and 15 never made it back to the mud...
Matt took over and now owns 2nd place in the Monthly Pool with a 1.13 pound mudback...
