Watch out for those second chance offers. I got scammed once and had to change all my passwords. They got into my account and had me selling all kinds of things.  bngh

The seller is legit, so I wouldn't worry to much about it being a scam.

The real question is, why do you need a 100-130# class rod?

30-50# is MORE then you will need to troll inshore tuna.

true, I don't need anything that heavy for the trolling that I am going to do, I am a sucker when it comes to things that are priced right.. and the price looked right.  I have a few bids going on 30-50 lbs range but sold for way more then I wanted to pay.

Strange the rest if what I typed didn't appear in the post... I've bought 90% of my gear from EBAY, both new and used. I've been very satisfied. The seller has a 98% approval rating and everyone sems to like the products they've bought. For the price it seems like a deal, I wouldn't worry about the seller, if this is something you want/need I'd go for it.

as to your first post, there are times you type, then put a smiley on the end of it, and all the typing disappears.  Just have to type it again.  I noticed that a few times, not sure why it happens.

They may be legit, but what Southpaw was talking about is 'others' will send you a second chance offer and claim to be the original seller. I had a second chance offer and sent it off to ebay as I was leary of the offer and was told it was a fraud.

Here is my latest pickup. Custom wrapped GUSA sw70mh 15-30lb that is a PERFECT match for my Avet sx.  Guys out on the west coast catch Yelowfin to 50lbs on this outfit easy.  Going to be my main bass and deep drop fluke setup.

Rod was a bday present from Fishinfool. Was listed as used, but do not think it ever was. Not a scratch or sign of any wear/use what so ever.

That being said, that seller is legit for sure and so is the 2nd chance, but I think you def do not need a rod like that and if you did, you could land a better rod for the same or slightly more $$ on ebay.

Decent deal on Penn slammers, Shakespeare Tidewaters (the same as those guys from Chew On This who catch them Goliath grouper), etc.

Nick, if this rod does'nt work out for ya, try checking the EBAY store for Pinnacle Marine Outfitters..This guy makes nice rods for the $$. and has a great reputation..all Pac. Bay harware, nice wraps, and is real reasonable.. I picked a few rods from him and they're pretty sweet.. Ty mike..guys on THT actually tipped me off to him... BTW, sweeeeet rig with the GUSA and SX combo! .. I bought myself an MXJ for my birthday, and built myself a rod on a Lami triflex 20-40# blank..I can't wait to try it!

Now that is nice. Good job on that rod. Something I want to get into one day in the future, but will probably be a couple of years off from doing it.
