Mackeral Run
« on: April 18, 2008, 07:22:16 AM »
I was down at Belmar Thursday and it appears that the Mackeral Run has just started. Some guys had a few while bottom fishing at the Mud
It appears to be the beginning of the run
I hope we get an old fashioned mackeral school and fill the freezer
Great doormat strips

Thanks for the info Ross. The spring run of mackeral has been a bust for the past several years. I would like to get some, as you said, great fluke strip bait.

How did you make out with the larger spros? Did the guy come thru? If not, I will do them for what he wanted. Also, I will give you extras to make up the difference from before. Let me know.

great news I would like to get out and get some. TT^
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
