Out on a Limb bass 4-30-08
« on: April 30, 2008, 05:51:32 PM »
Got an invite from Jr last night so I meet him early in Morgan marina and off the 2 of us went is search of da Bass in Raritan bay.... Got da bunkers real quick and set the anchor on some sweet marks outside of a channels edge.....

Awesome fishing from the first lines down as we both were on.... Had our 2 man limit, bass to 24 lbs, within 40 minutes as we fought off a few blues in between and they weren't even all that bad till the tide died..... as a matter of fact we didn't even throw one chunk in the water for the first 3 hours as we continually marked fish under the boat

Jr DID have the bonus tags on board but there was no need to take more than we could use.... in the end we hooked 10 bass.... with blues big and small in between..... didnt matter as they took the live, heads and tails.....

Also we both had the pleasure of Field testing a new product on the market thats made by the Bluefish-Tooth Co. ----- its is called Hook- Be- Gone.... I must say these guys have this thing down perfect.. the design was right on as hooks were bitten off with very little effort at all..... when it hits the shelves at Crabbys B&T make sure you guys pick one up.....

Thanx again Jr .... and lets hope its pouring in the morning.....

Nice report!  Can you tell us more about this product?  I'm a bit confused about what this product is used for.  I especially don't understand this part, "hooks were bitten off with very little effort at all."

I'm thinking that I probably don't want a product that makes it easier for a fish to bite my hook off!  But I'm sure there's more to it than that! ;D  Can you elaborate?

Thanks,
Bob
