Luna Sea Report..
« on: May 02, 2008, 09:24:50 PM »
sort of..

Went down today to do some work on the boat.. Yes, the tabs.. Decided to take a boat ride first...  since it was a nice day.

Had nothing on me but jigs, so couldn't help but to throw one in...  1 hook up, had to be at least 20 pounds.. real nice bass but lost at the boat.  I wasn't prepared to fish, just wanted to kill some time..

After the boat ride back, took the boat out of the water to fix the tab, and sure enough.. I had almost everything i needed, except the bracket that the tab mounts to which I thought was still on the boat.. it was but broken and didn't  know it until I pulled it out.

Anyway.. put everything on.. went well and everthing works.. filled the container, replaced everything I had and everything worked great, just have to pick up the bracket and put on the actual tab.  Not much left, and the difficult part is over. Put the boat back in the slip and headed home only to jump on our 16' freshwater boat and then played catch and release with the bass for the remaining of the day.

thats why I'm not taking the boat back home to fix it.  It is still fishable.. getting the tab fixed is just a luxury when the water gets rough.. If I only knew.. I put my hand in the water to see if the bracked was still on.. it was.. so I didn't think I needed it, so get all other parts needed..  I should have known, nothing works out the first time..

Oh, the marina said that the 5200.. (think thats what it is called) cures underwater.. is that true..
