Is it the drains for the water that collects on deck?

Take a picture.
Only 2 holes I have are for my scuppers that dain out of the transom into the water.

The only other hole besides that is in the bilge (transomand you better have a plug in that one.

mike there is the plug hole and there is a hole in the back by the motor the drains out the boat and then there are two drain holes in the boat and in each corner and the water drains to the B-PUMP . BUT WHEN IT RAINS THE B-PUMP IS KICKING ON . 1. DO I plug them and wait till I take a ride and pull them out or just let the pump kick it out?

Arty, i'd not plug them holes, i'm sure they are meant to remain open for draining.

Are you having trouble with a dead battery?

If you are in a slip and it rains and the rain water collects in the bilge activating the bilge pump you will have a major problem when the pump drains your battery. No battery power = no bilge pump operation.

I would check with the manufacture as to the purpose of the holes you are referring to.

Get their opinion on how to prevent your bilge from loading up with rain water and follow thier advise.

Ok I think I know which ones he means. I have them too. I am not sure if they drain to the bilge though. I think they go to the through holes. Self bailing I think its called.

Agree. Wouldnt be very smart for manufacturer
have them go to bilge. Mine are drains that go directly out the through hulls. Just realized when I wash it down the water goes out the sides. Not to bilge.

Some boats are worse than others with this. I used to have a CC Aquasport that the whole stearn area would be flooded any time it was in the water at rest. Added scuppers but it didn't help...very annoying! I finally wound up using plugs because I got sick of always standing in 3"s of water.

I trailered it but I wouldn't leave it in a slip without a working pump.
