5-10 report (edited)
« on: May 11, 2008, 02:08:20 PM »
Left the marina at 5p sat. and headed to great kills for some bunker snagging.  Darn boats everywhere, lines getting snagged up with the surf guys, it was a mes over there. After getting what we needed we went out to the bay and drifted chunks and clams. It was a slow steady bite all night.lots of blues and nice bass mixed in. The bass were biting both the clam and the bunker. We boated about 8-10 bass and twice as many blues up to 8lbs. All bass were 32-33"s but 1 28". The bite died around 1-2am so we headed in happy.

I'm sure some of them guys were out there looking for weakies what with the record fish that was landed in SI a few days ago.  TT^
