No apples on the trees yet  rofla

What a day !

Sat morning I look outside my window and the tree's were standing still.I knew that Capt Frank Masseria was heading out so I decided to call him to see what the conditions were like.Frank answered his phone & I said how is it out there & Frank said flat as a lake.I said Frank let me wake up my friends & once we get on the water I will call you back.At 6:30 am I call up Orlando and man did I wake him out of a deep sleep.I said Orlando we are going fishing get your stuff ready & I will call you back in 15 minutes.I jumped in the shower & I was out of the house within a half hr.I call Orlando back & he can't get his arse out of bed.I said Orlando I am already on the GSP hurry up man.At 8:45 am Orlando arrives at the marina with his friend Louis.We put all our gear on Orlando's 19FT Sea Fox and launch the boat out of Keansburg at 9 am.We headed across the bay to GKH to net Bunker.Louis (aka Hawk eye) spots the mother load of Bunker in the Flats and we start heading in that direction.Orlando gets the net ready and the 1st throw Orlando starts laughing and we start pulling the net up.Now I started laughing once I saw the net loaded with Bunker.Yep 1st throw a floater.Me & Orlando are peeing in our pants and now it's time to pull the net in.There was no way the 2 of us could pull the net in so we called for back up.Louis looks at the net now he's peeing.The 3 of us lifted the net and we started loading the live well with candy size Bunker for live lining and we loaded  up the cooler with Fresh Dead.Now that we had enough Bunker it was now time to go fishing.Orlando starts heading east & once we get to the area he started looking for marks on the screen.Orlando starts marking fish & we drop the anchor.Within 15 minutes we had our 1st Bass on.After the 1st Bass was boated it was no stop action.We caught 2 Bass to every Bluefish.At 3pm we called it a day & at that time we had 22 Bass from 31" - 39.5".We kept our limit of 6 Bass & the others were all released  unharmed.All Bass were caught on Bunker heads hooked a special way   ;)

What a day !

When we got back to Keansburg Orlando's Sea Fox looked like a Crime scene.We cleaned her up & I said Guys Dinner is on me let's go to the Blue Rock cafe in Keyport.As we were sitting down & starting to order food my cell phome rings & it's Capt Lou Grazioso.I said Lou we are having dinner at the Blue Rock come on down & Join us.Lou met up  with us and we enjoyed some food.

Orlando just wanted to say Thanks again for a banner day !

Great catch guys, I knew Mothers Day weekend should start off with a bang always does.  This week should be a winner as well if this wind will ever stop and everything calms down.
