thanks ,I enjoy knowing my gear isnt gonna blow up on a fish .I had a cheap reel go years back and I had to walk 100 yards across a park to land a bass and ever since that day I wont buy cheap

Right on catfish remember guys theres a reason its cheap.Im the same way with my tools It ends up costing you more in the long run in time and money to fix it or replace it

I have similar stuff that Skolmann and Treebeard have and it has served me well for many years and lots of fish.
I always rince out with fresh water and rebuild the drags when necessary.
Good Luck in your searching and future purchases. Thats part of the fun too....AJ.

I have a few to many reels. 7 Penns. 2 940s 2 GTIs 310 and 320. 2 SS4400s and a big Z series spinner. I also have 4 Shimanos 2 3500 baitsrunners 1 4500 baitrunner and the Charter Special 200. Throw in my Avet SX and Abu big game 6500cl. I also have 2 Diawa trolling set ups. I sure am glad that I thinned the heard this winter. ;D
