I have completely switched to Avet for my conventional reels and love them
My father LOVES his Trinidad. The drag is very smoth, but is supposed to be somewhat fragile as wel as having a weak anti reverse 9both can be upgraded). I do not think you will run into many fish in our area that would stress that tho. These are reports from guys out west who use light tackle, heavy braid for the long range fishing.Without a doubt a great, smooth casting reel, altho not inexpensive by any means.I would add a TN14 to my arsenal if I could justify the price tag (which I can't now as I have too much other stuff
I just picked up a shimmano trinadad and it is bad a*s ,I am going to get some more .the 6.2.1 gear just cranks fish in. for my spinning gear I have a couple stellas { 1000 ,4000,6000} and love them ,I use them alot and they never miss a beat ,my surf reels a plugging van stall, bait thunus ,fluke fishing I use calcuttas
Add both!
Thanks. Maybe we can hook up some time
