Late start out around 10 am. I had my daughter, sister and niece out for some fun on the water. I called Catfish Hunter and Mboy for a report and heard things were going slow. So I decided to do some trolling with the Stretch 25's because the tide was very slow. We picked up some big blues to 28" around the 11A can in the reach. Then we tried fluking for awhile with no luck and a slow drift.
I got a call from Mboy with a report of some fluke and A bunch of cocktail blues in his area so we head over to say hello.
By this time the young girls just wanted to go home and swim in the pool
, I would of stayed out longer myself. We threw some topwater plugs outwhile drifting for fluke. We landed one keeper fluke that wiggled out of my hands and back in the water while waiting for a photo.
And plenty of cocktail blues on the plugs. My sister really enjoyed top water fishing and I love it too..
