Reel Fantasea Fishing report 5/26
« on: May 28, 2008, 06:48:56 AM »
Sunday's trip with the  Gary DeFranco Party was out looking for  some trophy
striped bass , We found enormous amounts of bunker just about as far as the eye
could see but, with few stripers in the mix .

Sundays evening with  Tom Wilson
Party was out for a Barnegat Bay Slam Fest with the guys catching upwards of
seventy blues in the 1-4 lbs range  on light tackle. The guys joked that they
had thought fishing like this only took place on ESPN !

Mondays Trip with John
Repko and crew was out for more of the same solid light tackle  bluefish action
! Later that morning the   offshore Bass fishing developed into Epic Proportions
with huge schools of bass catching up with the vast schools of bunker with fish
ranging from 20-40++ lbs . Lets all keep our fingers crossed that this action
continues !!!

Best Regards
Capt. Steve

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot
