Fishing from Shark River 5/30
« on: May 30, 2008, 08:31:48 PM »
Left Shark River about 7 AM and worked our way north.  Saw one stiper caught on a live bunker just before the red church.  No other action for about 10 boats.  Continued on to Shrewsbury Rocks, a few boats and nada fish.  A few boats were on the rattlesnake so we tried there and again nada.  Back on the rocks to drift for sea bass and eventually come up with two shorts.  Back to the red church for the fluke and caught 6 shorts, 2 skates and one smooth dogfish.  Maybe next time since the water was up to 60.

Nice report!  Sounds like it was slow for everyone today.
