LS3 today..
« on: May 30, 2008, 09:54:17 PM »
Had a friend, Uncle Luna and Brijones1 on board today.  Got a bucket full of bunker in the AH marina on a couple throws.  Motored on to

Kiensburg pier..  1 short
Reach Channels... Nothing
TC Buoy.......... Nothing
False Hook....... Nothing
SH Reef.......... 2 shorts
Fish nets off SH..3 shorts

Water was flat.. no drift at all all morning.  It wasn't until late in the day to get a drift.. but the cocktail blues saved the day.. scored around 20..

Oh Well.. Next time.. but it was a nice, relaxing day on the water.

another very strange event.. while out at the SH reef, Uncle luna spotted some small fins on top of the water, so Brijones live lined a bunker with no weight.. BAM... but came up short, bunker gone.  Saw them again.. not sure what they were.. Shark?... seems too small... Stripers sunning on top?  5hrug maybe...  Very strange..

Good job on the blues. I couldn't even manage to scare up one of them today. Will be back at it Sunday though.  TT^

not that bad, some days you just long for any kind of action even if it's not the desired species,I'd take the bluefish any day.I forgot to mention in my last report one of the ones we landed was a horseshoe crab. t^

That's because it slides right off.  ;D Heyyyyyy, put that stiletto down!!! It was a joke!
I am part Italian also (Mother's side of the family) and I don't use lotion either. Only put a glob on the nose so it doesn't look like a strawberry.  t^
