catfish's fluke report 6-1-08
« on: June 01, 2008, 04:30:22 PM »
met up w/ scrubby ,avid ,and my buddy rob a little after 5 this morning and we headed out w/ great hopes of slamming fluke ,it was windy out and conditions were tough we had to use 4 oz. bucktails and 100 yards of line to feel bottom.we were off to a slow start and it was looking dim for us we couldnt find the numbers that we been having so we bounced till we found some bigger fish ,we ended our day w/ 14 keepers to 24 inchs and a bunch in the 20" range.we didnt wiegh any of the fish but they were for the most part fat fish. All in all it was a slow day w/ hardly any shorts comming up.I will post pics later
