6/7 Mate Matt's Fluking
« on: June 07, 2008, 11:17:02 PM »
Well, while I was working the adult job, my son Matt and his buddy Mike set out in the Whaler for the Flaties.

He called me from the dock before shoving off to say "we are goin to beat last weeks total. I'll show you how it's done" rgmn rgmn (famous last words)

SSSSSSooooooooooo, I didn't hear from him for quite awhile, finally I gave him a shout. Not a happy camper. :-X

They had action all day catching and releasing over 35 Flaties most in the 17-17 3/4 range.....They fished the CG Station, Bug Light, Atl Highlands and in the Shrewsbury.

Boys had a good day, but the heat whooped their butt's........hopefully not to bad as he has a wrestling Tournament in the morning. nosmly 5hrug

Well, I'll be out in the AM searching for the Elusive Linde Siders TT^

Well at least they had plenty of action, certainly better than the skunk. The new regs on fluke are hard, the majority of fish have always tended to run just under that length.

Good luck on the stripers tomorrow, and your son at his match.

I think some of these fish read the regs before the season starts and they diet so there not big enough. ;D at least you had the action to me that will keep the day going for you. t^
