Hiya meister.. Having used them both, I like the strap model.. They go on much easier, and the staps don't cut into the boot/foot like the laces do, so they are more comfortable. The sole of the strap model also cadles the boot better, so they don't tend to get pulled off as easily in mud.. Only downside IMO with the strap models is that they are a bit heavier. A few of my buddies have the Korker wading boots that have the cleats built right in and they love them, raving about how light and comfy they are with their lightweight stockingfoot waders.. They don't work for me however as they are cut kinda narrow and I have really wide feet.. Hope this helps.. Good luck!
