Atlantic Highlands Marina
« on: June 19, 2008, 11:24:40 AM »
How long do you think it would take to get a slip at the Atlantic Highlands Marina and do they do repairs are the marina? What are the rates for dry and wet storage there?

Luna Sea is there.

Might be able to get one next year. Every marina will have plenty of avail slips next year (unless they are ultra small).

No repairs that I know of.

If you mean the AH municipal marina, there's always been at least a 3 yr waiting list.

The wait was as long as 5 years, I have heard it's gotten a little shorter.  We're paying $100 per foot, and there are no repair facilities at the marina.  I'm not sure about the dry/winter storage rates.

with a recommendation, you may get in as soon as next season, if not, can be 3-5 years.

I need one for next year. Looks like with the kids getting older, they don't want to go RVing anymore. I think next year it's a slip for me. Would like to get into AH, but long waiting list they told me. 5hrug

Rick, get on the list. You will be surprised at how many are on the list making it long and then when the times comes, they don't take the slip. They go down the list pretty quickly at times. If the gas situation remains as it is, there will be many slips available everywhere.  rgmn

I was on waiting list at AH they make you jump thru hoops every Jan 1 you must reapply to keep your spot on the list.

Least that's what they told me so I told them to go scratch. I'm sure that will come back to bite me.

Yea Joe
I am going to put my name in. I just don't know what I want to do yet. Would like to find a place near a campgroud. Thinking of putting the RV somewhere close to a slip. This way I can go down for the weekend and have a place to stay.

That is one of the reasons I would like to be there. Seems like a lot of nice guys from this site go out of there.

t^ No problem I just don't do engine over hauls on the water. But most times we can make it run.
