always nice to beat the skunk but doing it with a 40" bass is extemely nice. Just shows that time on the water results in fish in the box.

As has been said many times... if you keep putting your time in... eventually you'll be putting fish in the box....
Nice Job!  t^

Joe,
Great report, and great catch, nice variety there of good sized fish, and all good eating varieties, especially the sea bass. Great bass too, a super fish. Way to go guys.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Wink, I have used the hooks you gave me and they are working great. I'll be using them for most of my fluke fishing when using bait. Thanks again.  t^

Joe, glad you are pleased with them. As I told you, I have used those mustad #92553 hooks for live bait fishing for a great variety of fish, from trout, livelining herring in deep water lakes, to fluke in the river and ocean, to strpiers with bunker and herring, and they have given me the highest hookup ratio(to misses), of any hook I've ever used. They are very light in weight, yet extremely strong, and the light weight keeps a live bait much more active, I've found.
