Only a few regulars showed up this AM, but the Capt took off for the 7 to 3 PM trip anyway...I think Capt John wanted to fish today.
Fished mostly the outgoing with good drifting conditions all day....first drift was at the triangle, picked up a keeper and lots of last year keepers.
Made our way to the 14 buoy of the reach....little wind but nice current sending us down the channel....very little boat traffic....worked that drift most of the day towards the ammo pier with non stop action....mostly shorts, but total for the day was 6 keepers for 5 fisherman.
Seems that the keepers are doing a bit better as the bay waters continue to rise.
Back in the dock at 3:15....Seawaren Creek was loaded with small peanut bunkers.
