Hit the Manasquan today for a late morning, early afternoon trip.  Worked the inlet to the railroad bridge with not a lot of action.  Coast Guard was busy checking boats!  Moved to the west of 35 bridge and manage to catch 3 shorts (14 1/2, 16, 17 3/4) and a crab.  We used killies, spearing and gulp.  Tried bucktailing with no luck.  We saw maybe 4 other shorts caught throughout the day!  Mid afternoon, passed a boat bringing in a NICE size shark.....looked to be a Thresher.
