So far this year - What seems to be the best 3 Gulp products for Fluke?  You know.....the ones you wouldn't leave home without!

4" swimming mullet.  This is all I use.  When something works that good,  you hate to try another. I have used the gulp sand eels with no success. "yet"

3" & 4" swimming mullet in hot pink and char. was the ticket for me so far this year. A lot of shorts with only one keeper but plenty of action.

I use the chartreuse 4" swimmimg mullet most of the time.  I also like the 5" jerk shads, sand eels, and all three sizes of the shrimp as well.  Eventually I'm going to get around to trying those 3" squid.  ;D

I like the 3 and 4" swimming mullets in white, pink and chartreuse.

I just got the 6" swimming mullets in white and will try them instead of squid strips...they are large, but have seen reports that they have been getting some bigger fluke.

where did you find them.. I can't see how you can miss with them.  I wrote the company last year with Capt Vic requesting they make a 6" swimming mullet.  I am just hoping to see it on the market soon.

Dick's has it.  It's called the 6" Power Grub.   It sells for $6.99 per 4 pack.  It's a nice bait, but I wished they made the body a little thinner (more streamlined).

Actually, more like the plain old Gotcha curl tail grubs.  I've been using those for years to tip my bucktails for stripers.

1.  I think the 6" Berkley is too bulky, which may interfere with the hook set (i.e. not leaving enough bite for the hook).

2.  I think they would be too buoyant, which would result in having to step up to another size or two in weight.

3.  I'm not usually one to put dowm expensive baits.  But four 6" twister tails for $7 is a lot of money!

Having said all that, I may try them soon and in a few weeks be telling everyone how great they are! ;D

Included a couple of packs in a recent Cabela's order to try them out.

I've been trying the 6" grub and don't care for it.  Body too long and not durable at all. Works ok on 3oz+ jigs.

Love the 4" swim mullet and wish they just made that one bigger proportionately.

White, glow, pumpkinseed has been working quite well for me lately. TT^
