tomorrow, 7/25
« on: July 24, 2008, 09:19:53 AM »
anyone planning on hitting the suds anywhere?

if so, or if not, and someone feels like meeting up, i'm thinking of heading out tomorrow night.  the weather is supposed to be pretty good and the wife is out for the night.

will yesterday's and today's storms have a negative impact on fishing?

Good morning Ash.  I might be up to some night fishing what time where you planning on coming down?

It might be good to target fluke in the suds with small stuff.  They are for the most part small but they are there.  Not sure if the rain will influence them there or not.

Happy Catching

That seems like a good time for me as well.  I will let you know.  Are you going to the park if so I could meet you at Grumpys and ride in from there.  Or I could meet you at one of the parking lots and we can still drive on so this way if you want to fish more you can just walk off the beach to the lot.  Either way is fine with me.

I will probably be going toe the Crystal Diner for dinner with the family and after that I can meet up with you.  Is your cell still the same as in the contacts forum?

Paul,

My number is still the same.

Haven't quite figured out the logistics for tomorrow yet.  How about we work it out tomorrow?

Ash

Any other takers?  We're cool people, honestly!  :P  ;D

Hi Ash,

Fishing is real slow here today.  Talked to a couple of B&T's and they said that very few guys were out and that those that did get out were catching small fluke in the suds with small blues and 1 small striper.

It will probably be the same tomorrow.  If you have small bucktails and gulp swimming whatever to tip them with that seems like the bait of choice.

The key is to fish it real slow, like I heard someone say if you think you are fishing it slow it is not slow enough.  Plus keep fishing it right to your feet many are in just inches of water lately.

Give me a call some time after work to set things up.

Happy Catching
