Funky Munky report from Fri 8 /1 WOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Met up with Mike W & Capt Ed .

When I arrived at Wagners on Fri morning Mike & Capt Ed were already mustering up peanuts & snappers.

I jumped on board the Funky Munky & off we went.

Very tough conditions with a 2K+ drift, but we stuck it out and made a day of it.

30 or so Shorts, few robins, a couple doggies and 6 Keepers to a bit over 5lbs (and 2 Jersey Keepers to 19" that went back in NY waters).

GREAT company today and got some keepers to boot in less then ideal conditions (although the weather was GORGEOUS)!.

We have alot of laughs   ;D

I had tears in my eyes at times   hhppy

As soon as I boated the 5 lber Capt Ed yells  WOOOOOOOOO !!!!! just like Ric Flair  rofla

I almost wet myself !

On aside note we had alot of different baits smelts,sand eels,squid,snappers,peanuts.

I was not a believer re Gulp products until Fri's trip.

Every Fluke caught was either caught on a 4" penny color shrimp or a 6" Grub.


Mike & Capt Ed I had a Blast & A half   chrz

Rachel we had a blast.

It was like we knew each other's for yrs.

Mike missed out though  ;)

Ed & myself went over to Keyport Fishery for a fried Shrimp platter.

We asked Mike to join us but he wanted to get home.

From time to time we snacked & we drank alot of fluids like Water,Snapple & Gatorade.

But the Keyport Fishery was calling us  ;)

Fried Shrimp hmmmmmmmmmmm good !
