What type of gear do you run? heaviest outfit I have is 11' TICA, Diawa Advantage Spinner loaded with 50# PowerPro, doubt this will suffice.

That will be right in the ball park.  A lot of us run a little lighter as a matter of fact.

I have an 10' 6" Tica (Dolphin Series) with a Penn 560 Slammer with 30# PP.  A lot of others are running strictly mono as well.

Just be ready for a good fight if something big hits.  Last week one person fought one in the 5 - 6' range and it took him almost 2 hours to bring it to the beach and how  about a run down the beach by about 800 yards or more from where he first felt the strike.

well. due to my practice of reading threads backwards,  I realized that the date seems to be my girlfriends birthday. I don't think that's what she   had in mind when she said go out for a "nice dinner"  5hrug

Yeah, I should be there but I do not think I will be there that early though.  I have to wait till tomorrow to see what the honey do list has on it and how much I can knock off it.

There will be 4 of us, leaving Jackson around 5 - 5:30.  I will be on the boat tomorrow first, leaving port at 7am.  Hopefully if I can find some bunker in the marina, I will try to fill a cooler and bring it with me that night.  Should be at the beach no later then 7pm.

if i score on the bunker, I will give you a call so you don't have to pick any up.  The only reason why I might not score, is that I am trailering the boat tomorrow to put back in the slip, and I usually succeed at first light.. In which i will not have tomorrow.
