With so few days left in the season....and only so many days we could click our schedules together set out with my son and Mate Matt for some fluking after his Soccer practice.
Left the dock at 1215 PM and ran to the end of Sandy Hook channel, boated a keepers 19" and four shorts on two drifts.
Snapped her in gear and headed for the Rocks, got just off the Highlands Bridge and she sputtered to a stop, started up, got her going same thing.
Immediately new the problem, diaphram in a fuel pump, we replaced one in the fall, one in the spring and now we are going for the third and last one.
Limped back into the dock at 18rpm....called Steve at S&S Marine. Said bring her down first thing in the am.
Got up early limped her down to Steve and in 20 minutes she was running like a raped ape.
Always listen to that little voice, the one that told me to replace the last diaphram in the spring.....will learn one day.
Kudo's to Steve at S&S Marine Highlands, great guy and outstanding Mechanic.
